I purchased your book last week and wanted to thank you for taking the time to assist we prospective candidates. People such as yourself, and those on this site, are the reason I reenlisted. I have completed the book twice and am sharing the information with the soldiers in my unit (most of whom purchased the book while at drill this past week). It has opened many eyes and most importantly many an approach to training! The benefit to the book sales is outstanding and I am happy to have contributed.

Great stuff. Thanks for the feedback. Let me know if there's anything else you or your soldiers want more details about. Tough to package it all in one book without turning it into a phone book (which no one would read).

Just out of curiousity, where did you find it?

Ordered my copy today. Thank you again for putting the effort into this work. I'll also pass this on to the rest of the guys at our July drill.

Warrior-mentor :

A late "Welcome" to the site. Your training book sounds like a great idea. Obviously the proceeds are going to a worthy cause. Since you are new, a FWIW on what the people who administer the site and post as regular members have done for the SOWF and the SFA in the last year.
The first project had a net $900 donation to the SOWF along with outfitting a lot of guys with a nice multi-tool: http://www.professionalsoldiers.com/...9&page=1&pp=10
and the results thread:
http://www.professionalsoldiers.com/...7&page=8&pp=10

then there was this project recently which raised a full $1400.00 for the SFA http://www.professionalsoldiers.com/...ead.php?t=5854

Am I bragging for the site and its members? Well, yeah. I am proud of everybody who participated. My point in all this...

As you can see, you are among kindred spirits when it comes to helping those type organizations. Anyway, I didn’t know if you have found time to come across those threads yet, so I though I would give you a link in my welcome.

SFAS Preparation Book

Like I said awhile back and now it's been officially confirmed! You don't get NO MULE or John Deere Gator to haul your junk around Camp M.

Thanks for being patient.

FYI. When you order through the warrior-mentor website, it sends you to the warrior foundations site for the actual purchase. Because they work hard to keep the expenses down in the foundation, they have a small staff (2 folks) handling all their administartive support as well as the orders for the book.

The good news is they've been swamped with orders this week, so we're raising funds for them and guys are getting good info on how to prepare.

The bad news is they've been swamped with orders this week, so they're playing catch up.

Also, if you're one of the orders from Thailand or the Phillipines, they're working to figure out how to get them in the mail to you. US Postal Service won't work.

For the guys in Afghanistan and Iraq, shipping to it to APOs no problem...in fact one copy ordered just last week was rec'd and has already been read twice. Don't ask me how it got there that quickly, the stars must have been in alignment, but it did...if you're at an APO, I'd expect it to take a couple weeks...if it gets there quicker...great!

If you have problems, please send me a note. Because this is a growing experience for me and the Warrior Foundation's folks as well...we'll work out the systems...please be patient with us while we learn, grow and improve.

Sounds good, Sir.

I've got "On Killing" to keep me busy until then.

"On Killing" is great professional reading.

I recommend anything by LTC(RET) Dave Grossman...especially that book and his tape set "The Bulletproof Mind."
