6-Year Old Calls 911 on Father for Running Red Light

Comrade Robert, your programming is coming along fine. Your father may need some re-programming, though.

Quote:
Robert, a 6-year-old from Quincy, called 911 after his father ran a red light while the two were out running errands.

“Daddy went past the red light,” Robert said during the call, which was shared to Quincy police’s Facebook page.

Reminds me of the day my kid came home after school while in the 3rd grade and was upset when I had a beer with dinner. It turns out that they had lesson on drugs and alcohol avoidance that he was convinced having a beer was a 'disease'....At least he didn't call the cops and we have reversed that attempt at programming....

"She listened at the keyhole. Heard what I was saying, and nipped off to the patrols the very next day. Pretty smart for a nipper of seven, eh? I don't bear her any grudge for it. In fact I'm proud of her. It shows I brought her up in the right spirit, anyway." ~ George Orwell '1984'

Orwell wrote that book as a warning, NOT as a field guide.

Nice. Between that and the "time-out" generation...we are in trouble.

That's ok, he didn't want anymore ice cream and cookies for the next 11 years anyway.

Coming to a city near you:

Equilibrium

In the nation of Libria, there is always peace among men. The rules of the Librian system are simple. If you are happy, you will be arrested. If you cry, the law will hunt you down. If you read a contraband book or so much as look at a smuggled painting, you've committed a criminal sin. And skip your medicine and your life will be over.

Up until now, top-ranking government official John Preston (Christian Bale) has believed in this system, has upheld the system as a highly-trained "Cleric" who seeks out and destroys those who don't take their pills. But then he skips his own dose of Prozium - and discovers an incredible new world of sensation that gives him the passion to fight for freedom.
