Knock out 100 pushups, fill out your profile and make an introduction in the right forum like you were instructed to do.

Neither org wants someone who can't follow instructions.

Typically those who cannot demonstrate basic understanding of grammar, capitalization, punctuation, and the ability to follow instructions neither finish college nor serve in either organization that you have asked about.

Your first impression here on this professional forum was less than professional.

Thread title --- special forces / Army Rangers

I see what you did there. Lower case SF; sentence case Army Rangers.

I can see where this is going to go. Yes, there are many on this site that have done both but you won't get any answers until you learn what FTFSI means.

Based on your post I would recommend you don't waste your time going to lower Tier units like "sf or RR"- but, instead think about joining one of these elite outfits:

http://www.stripes.com/polopoly_fs/1...1243907437.JPG This unit infiltrates into previously denied areas, don body suits to fit in with the indigs, and do lots of PT...

12th Combat Aviation BDE- which conducts elite P3T training: http://www.army.mil/e2/c/images/2015...1182/size0.jpg

the 31st ADA- which has a similar program, but doesn't make you wear a PT uniform: http://www.army.mil/e2/-images/2011/...-03-160353.jpg

Most any unit on Bragg is also good to go- and they let you mix and match uniforms and civvies- which is more than you can get away with at SWCS while doing PT down Ardennes... http://bloximages.newyork1.vip.townn...size=300%2C203

If you're forward deployed to Turkey, you can get into this elite unit: http://www.incirlik.af.mil/shared/me...-VO466-030.jpg, and they are known for maxing pushups on the standard Air Force PT test--

and this unit even relaxes the safety belt requirement to one during stretching: http://bloximages.newyork1.vip.townn...size=300%2C212

That same unit has a ppt mentorship program: http://bloximages.newyork1.vip.townn...size=760%2C507

I apologize about the first post, I meant nothing by it as I have great respect for every person that has served our country. I was only trying to get some information and perspective on the topic from people with previous experience/ knowledge. My dad has served, I really want to as well. I will definitely re-word my question.

Thanks for letting me know how this works.

Your deleting your first post as you get told to follow the rules and comments on your sub par post tells much about you.

It shows that you will cut and run at the first sign of adversity.

The military does not need that type of person much less Ranger units or Special Forces. You should look deep inside and decide what you want in life and then decide on the appropriate actions needed to change your self so you you can accomplish your goals.

Very few are cutout to be SF or Rangers. Many think they can do it and a very high percentage fall by the wayside.

You may have what is needed but you need to look deep inside and make an assessment. If you find you are lacking then you may be cutout for other things.

Good luck.

Failure To Follow Instructions. Another one that can't see the forest for the trees. Reclass.

Perfect!

Spent some time putting that together?
