Rosenberg, TX man arrested for failing to signal a turn after he tells officer he is carrying with CCW. Video cleary shows the officer telling Gonzalez he's being arrested for "traffic violations"?

Sounds like he was hooked up over traffic warrants.

From the article:"As far as what the officer perceived, the officer perceived a threat.” I've done some searching but nothing extensive, where did you hear it was over warrants?

Depending on the state, some traffic violations are arrestable. DUI, Reckless Driving, improper license plates, speeding over a certain limit, etc.
Don't know the particulars here.

The police chief assures everyone that proper procedures were followed, but the officer that made that arrest is no longer working there.

Please do not allow an isolated incident or the actions of one Officer to tarnish the image of the entire Agency. The arresting Officer is no longer employed with our Department.
