Did this guy get arrested for concealed carry??

Rosenberg, TX man arrested for failing to signal a turn after he tells officer he is carrying with CCW. Video cleary shows the officer telling Gonzalez he's being arrested for "traffic violations"?

From the article:"As far as what the officer perceived, the officer perceived a threat.” I've done some searching but nothing extensive, where did you hear it was over warrants?

Depending on the state, some traffic violations are arrestable. DUI, Reckless Driving, improper license plates, speeding over a certain limit, etc.
Don't know the particulars here.

The police chief assures everyone that proper procedures were followed, but the officer that made that arrest is no longer working there.

From their Facebook page: "In light of the recent media publicity regarding the traffic arrest of an armed CHL holder, we felt compelled to make a statement. The Rosenberg Police Department supports our 2nd Amendment rights, and all CHL holders. Please do not allow an isolated incident or the actions of one Officer to tarnish the image of the entire Agency. The arresting Officer is no longer employed with our Department. We stand with our Community."
