Med Waivers

Hey how's it going?
I was just wondering if anyone here can tell me the odds of getting a medical waiver for a missing pec muscle. I had to get one in 2006 and I'm waiting for approval as we speak. I know that waiver can get me back in the military but the odds of getting ones to attended SFAS and/or Airborne are in my favor or not?

I would suggest that you search for previous responses to your question.

It doesn't matter what we think. The only thing that matters is what the approving authority says.

FWIW, my personal belief is that we are not granting many waivers right now.

Alright so I was able to speak with a SF recruiter and was told a waiver is possible but only by the Special Operations Surgeon. Let the journey begin.
