awarded medal

I was going through some of the bio's on the POW Bio site. There is a link on the bottom that has the medal of honor awardees. I notice some of the POW's and Some not POW's were awarded what appears to be the Army and navy world war II Occupation medal. This is not the POW medal. It is white black red white and example would be the great Jon Cavainai Also, I noticed that Robert Howard's bio is not on the Medal of Honor list. If anyone can fill the required information to the web master, I am sure it would be well received. He is America's most decorated soldier.

Jon Caviani was a POW - Bob Howard was not so his bio wouldn't necessarily be found on a web-site dedicated to POWs.

Richard. You are correct in that Robert Howard was not a POW. But the site has a Tribute section that regardless of POW/NOT POW for any soldier under the appropriate categories.
