I have noticed there are a lot of fine spirit enthusiasts on PS.com. It's an honor to share this with you

I had the pleasure of tasting this at The Brandy Library in NYC this summer. It's officially the world's peatiest scotch and can be ordered here

My most memorable wee dram was earlier this year. I managed to find the 1977 Ardbeg (that's from Islay for you bourbon drinkers). Pure peat smoke in a glass. Worth every penny for that double. Neat, of course.

I had a wee sip of an Ardbeg (not sure how old -- wasn't paying attention; I was in love) last night at RANDALL'S. It was pretty spectacular.
For those in the St Louis area they have quite a nice selection of all the important stuff

Nice. Ardbeg is my favorite so far, though not a huge fan of the 10 yr old. It has to grow up a bit.

"Well sure . . . " Dontcha mean "nee ne-r nee ne-r neeeeee ne-r"? 300 pounds is a LOT. Probably almost as much as it would cost me to come for a visit and a dram . . . Creep.

neat of course, never add ice, there's already enough water in it, just as the makers intended!!

I haven't opened the bottle, saving for a special occasion, but the guys at the awesome liquor store I found in Edinborough (which had Pappy's in stock BTW) say it's some of the best they've ever tasted.
