Blurred Line Between Espionage and Truth

I usually default to the old adage "The Times lied and soldiers died" when viewing anything from the NYT. This article points out some interesting double-standards with respects to whistle-blowing and degree of transparency with the current administration.

I read that this morning and came away disappointed that the media only seem to criticize Obama on matters related to journalists access to information ignoring all other issues.
In this case, his aggressive prosecution of whistleblowers, is absolutely counter to his campaign promises, however, we only hear about it because it affect journalists' access to information about the administration.
