Perfect SF Date Recipe???

Okay, am opening up the floor to what the perfect SF date recipe/dish would be to prepare for one/many of Ya'll, that is wanting to have a nice meal? The reason for this post is a potential gathering of SF Men at a location, that need to eat!

This Holiday season, here is something new for the Gourmet thread...lol.

A previous thread I searched for is here...

Setting?

Setting?

Sit down formal or hanging out casual?

At home with a fairly large kitchen?

For sit down - A couple of made in the morning large pans of Lasagna, fancy salad, toasted bread and wine is pretty easy on a hostess feeding a large hungry crowd. Throw in some good horderves and you're golden.

Informal stand around? Big pot of chile (or three) with tons of fixin's .

My view is based on mess (that can be cleaned prior), ease of prep, and heavy food.

You could really get his attention with a Special Forces 7 Course meal- A pizza with a 6 pack. Alluring attire optional...

You're going to have an "SF date" with a group of SF men? Are you sure food will be required?

Hmmm.....carry on............

Before I opened this thread I decided it would be beer, pizza and sex. First two would be optional.

Great ideas, so thanks! QP Pete and QP Mark...am following that logic, having spent time trying to understand the fundamentals of SF men...

A very open area is key to the serving of mass SF men....and no Orion, I did not intend this to be "that" type of question.......hahaha LOl!

Have a recipe for some really good lasagne, apps, and salad....all Free, and will be posting a host date soon...fior any who are in my AO.

Holidays can be lonely for those serving on the front of the front...so I want to do something cool this year!

If the weather permits, a redneck barbecue with beer. After that some stories and more beer.

I was thinking along this line, with the addition of TS's ribs, great hot dogs (to smother with the good chili), burgers... and lots of "fixins"!

I'm getting hungry already...

Based on your location, avocation and depending on how much time you want to spend with these guys.

Perhaps a javalina, pit cooked, with some wild bird, mesquite grilled, along with native side dishes and some great bread. Don't forget desserts Fajitas are not bad either of course lasagna is good comfort food too. Have a great Holidays and a nice gathering!

Host? Cool!

Is this going to be held upon the return of TS? That would be a good occasion! Just a thought. I have them occasionally... I mean besides food and beer. Mmmmmm. Beer.
