Thumbs up Perkins for Congress !!

I am very happy to see Chris Perkins throwing his Beret into the ring for the 11th District of Virginia in 2012. We were in 1/10 together back in the 90s...not on the same team, but Panzer is a small place! Since I live in the 11th District, you can bet he will have my support. I can't think of a better guy to shake things up on the Hill than an old SF Warrior! My future Congressman could use all the help he can get.

Starting to follow this a bit more closely now, Mr. Perkins has kicked off his campaign as of a few weeks ago:

I can't seem to find the schedule for the Virginia redistricting, but it sounds as if both parties are conspiring to make their districts easier for incumbents to hold on to per the last updates I can find from a few months back. Given the 11th has gone Democrat the last few times, it may make this race a bit more of a challenge:
