Abnormal EKG

I have a question in reagards to the SF physical and my abnormal EKG. I have not had a SF phisical as of yet and would like to know if this is a game ender for me. I have had an abnormal EKG from the initial one completed in 2000. I had a heart cath done and was found that it is a false positive. I recently had another EKG completed and found the same results after completeing an Echo and stress test. My question is will I be able to pass this part of the SF physical with these results?
Thank you for your time.

You will need a waiver to get into the Army to begin with.

After that you will need another waiver to be considered for SF training.

Whether those will be granted can only be answered by the approving authority, the USAREC Surgeon and the USAJFKSWCS Surgeon in that order.

Sorry I cant answer your but there are facts.

Not to step on you brother Crip, but I had similar things with my EKG when I first got my eval done. I too had abnormal findings and did the stress test and echo. All came out to be fine. Specialist said it was because of my height and my weight made the axis of my heart appear funny to the machine (taller/leaner guys tend to have these issues at times). It has never been an issue with any course or any unit I've been with since the initial testing.

Crip and Aequitas thank you for your quick response. The information is very appreciative. Aequitas, I was told the same by the first doc about the position of the heart. Just a hurdle on the track....
