New Army Rucksack

The Army is deploying a new "medium" MOLLE ruck for Afghanistan - it will hold 3,000 Cubic Inches (CI).

The MOLLE large hold 5,000 CI; the assault pack holds 2,000 CI.

The main pocket of the ALICE large is - you guessed it - 3,000 CI.

All new equipment should be done this way!!!!

Hope that Natick does forfill this thought..... That's all UK and IDF equipment are better. They listen to their soldiers or end users.

Engineers want to deploy the three prototypes to the 173rd in Afghanistan for testing and select a final design by the fall of 2010, Sloane said. He’s working with the Infantry Center to finalize a requirement for the pack and if all comes together, Joes could see their new pack before next winter
