Antibacterial application

I have recently heard that the US military is using an antibacterial application in Iraq which is similar to the use of sulfa for combat wounds in WWII. Does anybody know if this is true?

If this has already been talked about please link me to the thread. Thanks

I have been here since Sep 06.
It has not been discussed, messaged on, taught to the new folks who have come in from Kuwait, or brought up at a providers conference in Baghdad that I attended in April.
Short answer would be no.
