7 Turkish troops killed in rebel attack

There are other threads where this topic has been discussed. (and this could probaly be dropped in with the "Novice Look" and others)

Very interesting. I wonder what the plan is if Turkey decides on large scale incursions. My guess is that it won't come to that but you never know. I'm not familiar with how our relations are with Turkey but my brother works for a lobbyist firm in D.C. that advocates pretty much every position possible against Turkey if thats any indication.

ANKARA, Turkey -- Hundreds of Turkish troops crossed into northern Iraq early Wednesday to chase Kurdish guerrillas who attack Turkey from bases there, Turkish security officials said. One official said the troops had returned to their bases by the end of the day, but Turkey's foreign minister denied they had ever entered Iraq.
