C/3/7 Video

Found this on Google video. Shows a hostage rescue scenario among other things like HALO and fast-roping.

For some of us, sitting in a cubicle for 8 hours with nothing to do but surf the Internet while waiting for things to break pays the bills... literally.

If you can find it, there's a show that airs on the Discovery/Times channel that is an hour long presentation of this, in English. It's called "Hunting the Taliban" and involves the same footage shown on the link above (only more of it as the show lasts an hour). If you can catch it, it's reall interesting to compare the two programs...

Fortunately, I figured this out in my mid-20s. Off to OSUT next month! My gal thinks I'm crazy but she says I'm happier than she's ever seen me. It's sick that I'm looking forward to DIs, when compared to Lumberg and the Bobs.

Good on you. You going 18X? I've got my eye on OCS down the road.

As far as the Bob's go, yeah, I'm looking forward to DIs too. Hell, I'd even settle for Gunnery Sergeant Hartman.

Compilation: This could be an SF recruiting video.....

US Special Forces in Action

http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=f08_1197234105

Go hard or go home, all day, everyday...

Check that wall of lead at 5:10 (nice audio, too) kudos to the videographer.

I'm puzzled as to why they used "headstrong" for the soundtrack

Interesting video though, 5:10 to 5:30 shows the SAS/SBS in action during a prison riot in Afghanistan.

The video was filmed and edited by a Navy camera crew over a couple of months. Each scene was cuts of different training events. They were then joined into one video to be shown to the rest of group as a recruiting tool. But by the time the video was complete Rosey Roads was shut down and C/3/7 went back to Bragg. But the real question is: Why the hell is this thing on the net?!?! Obviously someone from the unit felt the need to show off to someone by uploading this thing for everyone to see. Not that it's classified, but the more we tell the world the more they know and can defend against...
