Someone has "found" and linked to our website.

That's all I can pull without actually branching the site, which I won't do without a better firewall/ IP anonymizer.

Looking
Looking for data to mine, tips, techniques, tactics, how to train, mind set, motivation, who we are, why we do it. Those and a lot more.
They will never just read it and then be able to do it.
One reason why we keep it fairly general and save the good stuff for face to face, the gun range and the GB Club.
I wonder what they are pulling from the "Self made hero" sites
Then again - Is this site real? Are we real people or is it really just two people working in the basement of the CIA and leading the Arab Lurkers along .

Solid,
I am actually quite accomplished with internet searches for informational purposes. I have done considerable research on various countries, classified & Un-classified, area studies etc.
Read again what I have asked for.... you'll see I've asked professionals, in their field, for unclassified information I do not have access too, such as a possible terrorist links and a translation of what they are saying on that website.
Now sit and watch, men (and women) are talking......

The thread was started asking for videos of Egyptian commandos. I can't follow most of the back and forth, but the PS.com links are to various videos here.

a quick translation of the first post in that thread:
salam alekum, gods blessing upon you,
(I was wondering) if it was possible that someone could give me the (place) location of the special film of training for egyptian (commando's).
The thread continues to compare the egyptian comando's to Navy SEALs ....there's alot in there I need a dictionary for and I dont have one anymore...but it appears to be a discussion or debate on wether the egyptian commando's are as good or better than US SOF
hope this helps

This accords with my impression. More like a milphotos.net "discussion" among keyboard commandos. So what are the Arabic terms for "kewl" and "pwned!"

My first impression of their website goes along with what Airbornelawyer said about "keyboard" commando's. I"ll take a better look a little later on at the rest of the website and see if I can translate maybe the front page for you. If you'd like...I still have a few buddies who are former Linguists and who are now contractors, I could forward this site to them and see what they have to say. This is actually a good project for me...I really need some language maintenance

"Moarekh" means Historian in Arabic. From what I could gather from a quick read, the site seems to be a forum for Egyptian history buffs and enthusiasts that want to reminisce about their past glory or occasional lack therof. They talk about various military and spy-related topics.
The front page has links to the right for "Pages of Egyptian History", "War of October", "Spy Wars", "Know Your Enemy".....
The particular thread reffered to by TS alludes to the original poster looking for a training video issued by their PAO about the training of Egyptian commando units ("الصاعقة " refers to the Egyptian Ranger units). There's some back and forth discussion about the authenticity and existence of such a video, as well as frustration from the original poster regarding lack of assistance. A couple of posters even criticize the fact of posting such a video if it exists, because of their concerns for OPSEC (LOL) or as said before, authenticity of it.
The discussion is in Egyptian dialect mostly.
