German MG 42 machine gun / WW II era in fairly good condition. In reality machine-gun battle.

And what looks like a BREN on the table.

Not the best pix in the world but someone ask how I run both the EOtech and the Aimpoint with a magnifier on the reciever. So for those that haven't seen the combo here are a couple few pix.
Oooops didn't load. have to resize them. Sorry for the empty post.

I really like that AI stock. I just can not seem to get myself to buy one. The ones I have work well enough. Thanks for the photos.

I just got this one back from refinishing.
It started life as an Auto Ordnance (not the old AO, sadly the new AO) but it has a Kart NM Barrel w/target crown by Rogers, all tool steel internals, Simonich Gunner Grips, Kings Match Bushing, XS Big Dot 24/7 sights, Rogers "Golf Ball" front strap treatment, all topped of with IonBond's Black DLC. It's taken quite a while and cost a shitload more than I thought I would spend on one of these, but it is everything I wanted, nothing I didn't.
Good times,
Blake

Not to be judgmental, but after all that it took to get it refinished, why is it in the dirt leaning against some rocks Nice firearm though!

Trust me, That photo is the last time that gun will be that clean, unscuffed, and pristine. I like the hell out of the looks of this gun, but make no mistake, it is not a showpiece, it is meant to be used.
Good times,
Blake

Nice looking boat anchor you got there.
The funny thing is what you've written above could have been me, 25 years ago.....
I bought and had work done on a number of 1911 clones, cause I was never satisfied with off the shelf pieces.
I even had one or two with Kart barrels, match bushings, stippled grip, pretty trigger, titanium disconnector, low profile match sights etc etc etc.
You'll come around one day, I'd bet on it.......

Thanks TS,
I do intend to use the hell out of it on the range, but once again; make no mistake, I believe full well that the 1911 was made obsolete in 1935 with the advent of the P35 Hi Power (What can I say, Raised by wolves or some such). I am completely confident and secure in my current daily carry selections(1st Gen Glock17s), and I see no reason they will not serve me admirably for the foreseeable future.
Good times,
Blake
