Greetings

Good day to the QP community. I am currently deployed overseas and have had the pleasure of meeting some of your peers.

I am a 13A and awaiting to hear back from the board next month for my shot at SFAS. I look forward to the challenges and tests sure to come.

Although my current primary focus is to continue getting mind and body right for SFAS. My eye's and ear's are open to any advice or skill sets that would help me serve you guys better one day. I have a tremendous amount of respect for all that your community has done and continues to do. Thank you.

-Jeff

Hi, My name is Andres and currently a 18x-ray. First off I want to thank you all for your service and for all the information that you have laid out throughout the forums. All this information is extremely helpful, though I still have many unanswered questions I will save them til I cannot find the answer in these forums. Lastly I look forward to all the training I will be doing and hope to one day serve amongst the greatest, it will be an honor to be mentored by such great soldiers. God bless those currently serving and those who have served and who will serve our Country.

Hello all, I am a 22 year old living in the Pacific northwest. I grew up loving the outdoors, I grew up with the benefit of being exposed to other cultures at a young age and since then I have found a passion in travel and exploring other cultures and histories. I joined sea scouts when I was 14 where I was exposed to Navigation but I have to say that compared to land navigation I only have a good base understanding of some of the skills needed to become SF. At age 17 I began teaching myself advanced swimming techniques and by 19 I became a swim instructor which I am happy with. I enjoy teaching and evolving my teaching abilities by overcoming my limitations in being able to teach certain techniques. I have thought about joining the military since I was very young and now I believe I have found a good route to start on, I plan on working hard to start a career in the army and with a great amount of preparation I plan to attempt the epic that is an 18x contract.

Introduction

I was an intelligence specialist in the Navy. I served with NSWG and also had a chance to work with SF in Baghdad. I was highly impressed by them. I am finishing up my degree at Ohio State, set to finish in December. I am going to be enlisting under the 18X program. I am honored and psyched to get my chance to work with some of the most hard charging people.

New introduction

Not new to the forum but it has been a long time since I've been on so a new introduction is in order. Was an emergency room RN for a 2 years before enlisting, now I'm a SPC on active duty soon to be stationed at Eglin AFB attached to 7th group. Starting back on the forum to read about training up for SFAS. Thanks to all the quiet professionals for the vast amount of info on this site. Happy rucking!!!
