Maybe - but all those Chinese and Irish immigrants who built the Transcontinental RR would have loved to have had something like that.

Indeed, It was impressive, especially the spring clip they use to secure the track to the ties..

It looked like they most take out "old" ties to replace with new.

I though they didn't do that until a train derailed??
