I don't understand if Trump is everything the Democrat Socialists and their media arm says he is...why they haven't been disappeared.

Trump was never going to be removed because of the two-thirds standard, and it's not helping the dims politically, so why impeach?

Well, it happens to tie up the Senate schedule.
This means less time to confirm appointments to the federal bench.

Because the Klintons own the patent on that little trick.... It is a tool of the socialist.

I just wish they would end this so the Democrats can get started on their next impeachment articles.

The longer we wait for THIS impeachment - the longer we will have to wait for the next one.

Well if the Senate would just hurry up and find some evidence and create an entirely new case things might get moving again.... The role of the House was just to make accusations right? (Enter Ronan the Accuser)

We should send every Dem a nice new pacifier, so they have something to keep them quiet after DJT wins... Something they can gnash their teeth on.

They remind me of infants with an attention span of 10 seconds or so. They bounce from self-induced drama to drama while doing nothing for the country except spend our money that we supposedly don't have.

Murkowski (R AK) post on her F_%#Łook page

Quote:

“I worked for a fair, honest, and transparent process, modeled after the Clinton trial, to provide ample time for both sides to present their cases, ask thoughtful questions, and determine whether we need more.

The House chose to send articles of impeachment that are rushed and flawed. I carefully considered the need for additional witnesses and documents, to cure the shortcomings of its process, but ultimately decided that I will vote against considering motions to subpoena.
Given the partisan nature of this impeachment from the very beginning and throughout, I have come to the conclusion that there will be no fair trial in the Senate. I don’t believe the continuation of this process will change anything. It is sad for me to admit that, as an institution, the Congress has failed.

It has also become clear some of my colleagues intend to further politicize this process, and drag the Supreme Court into the fray, while attacking the Chief Justice. I will not stand for nor support that effort. We have already degraded our institution for partisan political benefit, and I will not enable those who wish to pull down another.

We are sadly at a low point of division in this country.”

So the saga will continue on & on. Give us some more im peach mints.

Who do they think they are? How can they think that they have ANY authority here to decide that? So the senate votes to acquit, and the Speaker of the House says "Sorry Senate, I don't like how you did it, so it doesn't count." WTF?

Romney is naive.

He would have been eaten alive by our geopolitical adversaries had he become president.

As someone alluded to earlier in another thread - for better or worse at the moment - it is a binary system.

Essentially, the other side seeks subjugation of individual freedoms to the creeping power of the State and all that entails.

The leftists are masters of Sophistry and Romney has succumbed.
