Custom woodworking
Anyone have a line on anyone that can do custom woodworking?
I am looking to get a dart cabinet made, with an engraved SF crest front and jungle green felt on the backing for a man cave. Potentially from a C & C machine. I don't want one painted, this needs to be an heirloom.
Thanks in advance
Andy

Check this guy out. Although he specializes in gun racks, he could probably do anything custom for you.

The woodworking craft shop at Fort Campbell's Guenette Arts and Craft Center had a CNC type of 3D router that would cut recessed images into wood, here is a low resolution test article I did years ago.
(The fineness of the image depends on the size of the router bit, smaller bits yield finer resolution but take more time).
Don't know if they still have it, but it's worth a try. And I assume they still have the laser embosser/engraver that burns into the wood to create images at high resolution.
Since you are nearby, might want to give them a call and then check it out.
