The viewing will be held at Schoeder and Sites Funeral Home from 4 PM-8 PM on Sunday May 7th. Their address is 207 South School, Saint Ansgar, IA 50472.

The Funeral Service will be held at Saint Peter Lutheran, Toeterville, IA 50481 at 1030 am Monday May 8th.

He was one hell of a man! One hell of an NCO! And one hell of a QP!

I participated in a raid with him to rescue Nick Rowe from his bamboo cage in the U Minh forest, we didn't get to him , but we got close enough that he heard us. 75 Nung mercenaries were inserted into the LZ, not one of them made it out of there alive...A bad day all around!

I had intended to take Nancy and pay him a visit, just kept putting it off for various reasons. That saddens me, I would have liked to have said goodbye!
