2015 Hog Hunt

Just got back from our annual pig hunt in King City, Calif. This year we had five hunters. We arrived at 3:00 in the afternoon, Friday. and were out hunting by 4:30. By 6:30PM, we all had our pigs. Weights ranged from approximately 135lbs to 180lbs. The pictures show my son dragging his 175 pounder up out of a canyon and the hog. One shot with a Winchester Model 70 in 300 WinMag did the trick at 150 yards.

Nothing like wild pork. I love using it for our mixture in our deer sausage and on the old grill.

Sounds like a successful hunt for all involved!

Grill Gun...

I thought about putting this in the comedy zone but here seems like a better fit, after a good pig hunt.

(first 5 seconds had me hooked, OP whispers: "So much 'Merica right now!")

I know its just for Shittz & Giggs, but has anyone ever tried this..... just to say you did it?

I keep the backstraps, loins and ribs whole. Everything else I grind up to make sausage. Brats, cheese brats, sweet Italian, spicy Italian and breakfast. Good stuff.
