20,000 U.S. service members will travel to continental Europe next spring on operation DEFENDER - Europe 20. This training activity was designed to test America's ability to deploy a large scale force to Europe.

I've always thought that we should have left a larger presence there after the end of the Cold War.

I say it's high time the EU stops living off the US Dollar and fields it's own Army to defend it's land.

They want to buy gas from the threat that's their business.

At most maybe we should send a couple of teams ANNUALLY on an FID exercise
