Corporate world and academia informally went that route decades ago.

Honestly, this reminds me David Morrel's book/TV movie "The Brotherhood of the Rose" in which the main/head antagonist, Robert Mitchum, was something like the No. 4 man in the CIA , which was the highest echelon in the US intel food chain where he could manipulate everything without question from his subordinates but still just low enough to remain invisible to civilian/congressional oversight and therefore immune from political power shifts. His character was also actually part of a cabal made up of global counterparts from all the other nations' intel/security agencies who loosely cooperated when necessary to affect/shape world events.

Don't forget the Title IX/"Dear Colleague" letters on college campuses.

Ah, but of course...mea culpa.

The campus or white collar office environment is now a veritable cesspool of SJW ideals. For those of you there - you have my condolences. It wasn’t always that bad.

Yeah, even down to the street level. It would be a shame if some Antifa tag-team thugs went to pull an Andy Ngo on someone who were themselves protected by some muscle adept at counter-surveillance that kneecapped the assault before it got started. And it would really be deplorable if the free-ride Defensive Tackle at University On High went to upend TPUSA's literature table on campus & got throat-punched for their troubles. Shameful.

IF Trump wins another term there had better be an email blast that says to every Secretary, Director, Ass't-Dir, Deputy-Dir, Associate-Dir, Under-Secretary and their deputies, your resignation is expected NLT 1200 hours of Inauguration Day and the President will make a further determination later that day (using the information that a decent transition team would've had ready for him in the first freakin' place). As you say, the Dems would not let that opportunity slide - the skillet would be ruined down to the bare metal.

Not really new

Like I have said before this country has been warned about The Deep State before.

General Smedley Butler, Commandant of the USMC and double of MOH winner warned this country about a Deep State. You have to admit that he was part or saw into the power circle.

General Dwight D. Eisenhower POTUS warned us about The Deep State in his Farewell Address. He was part of the power circle

We are now seeing it unfold because Trump does not like losing wars or fighting forever wars.

We have to ask who benefits from these forever wars? The DOD, the IC and the Defense Contractor corporations.

Everyone should read War IS A Racket by Butler
https://www.amazon.com/War-Racket-Or...s%2C159&sr=8-1

Everyone should watch or read Ike's Farewell Address

Doesn't FM 22-102 apply to Flag Officers Too?

I mean it should apply to everyone in any part of the government.
