History Question

Gentlemen-
I am finishing up a short brief on the history of 3/20 SFG(A) and am searching for information regarding the battalion's activity during the 1970s and 1980s. If there is anyone here who served during that time, please send me a message. I am looking for anything unclassified regarding any stateside disaster relief operations or involvement in overseas operations. I have searched the archives of Special Warfare magazine, the US Army War College, as well as open source outlets and have not found much. Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you

Have you spoken with the USASOC Historians' Office?

Sir,
I have tried contacting the number listed here on the telephone directory posted on soc.mil.

Head,
There was a 20th Group element in Florida as of 1963, which grew in 1972, and grew more in 1988.

I was in C\3\20th, Ft Lauderdale, from 71-75.

We spent 72 summer camp at the Miami Democratic (McGovern & Eagleton) and GOP (Nixon & Agnew) conventions.

Does that qualify as a Disaster??

Col. Gregory Moore (Ret) is the Florida Army National Guard Command Historian and works out of the St. Augustine barracks and museum. He should be a good source of information also.
