IED training courses?

I was wondering if anyone had a lead on some good IED classes I can use that are unclass. I am trying to put some good stuff together for this JCET. Thanks in advance.

A good starting point might be here:

They can at least put you in touch with proper contacts.

Training

If it were me I would avoid this type of training on a JCET. Unless its "React to" drills. All other TTP's as far as I know, are classified S/NF. And for good reason.

Concur.

I do not want to discuss that here, or provide information.

Engineers need to log onto, If you're on a Military server, to the USASFC or USASOC Portal home page.

Once on the USASFC home page; just look on the LEFT Side for the G3 section link. Click on it and find the Training link on the same (left) side and then look on the RIGHT SIDE for the IED-D link. Some overseas links you'll have to go to USASOC Organization page. Look to the right side bottom of the page for POC (Two BAH names) and documents.

Also, here you can find all kinds of training and information, not just for the 18 series. You will still have to submit an official request through your Company B Tm for the training, but they (IED-D guys) will help you out with what needs to be done. They did it for me. You will just have to have your BN (Group S3 really) submit the OFFICAL REQUEST for training to USASFC G3.

They have great MTTs to TDY training for all 18Cs. MTT are great for units getting ready for deployements. But you need to look at 4 months or more out to get some of these MTT teams to your bases.

If your Fort has other units deploying.. I.E. Combat Engineers to MI units will speed up the MTT or you can piggie back with other units.

Also, they can see if your Post has a AW Cell that supports training too. Many different places to get 18C training along with many other 18 series training or openings.
