14-16 Nov 1965 Ia Drang

49 years ago today the 7th Cav Rgt, 1st Cav Div was "in it" at the Battle of Ia Drang (14-16 Nov 1965).

Thought both the book and movie "We were soldiers once and young" were both pretty good. Last I heard LTC Hal Moore is still alive and well.
