What I like about Trump, is that he is demonstrating to the run-of-the-mill GOP candidate just how to speak the truth, stand by it, and fire back effectively. I don't know that I trust him in the long run, but this guy has a set of brass balls and it is very gratifying to see someone finally destroy the liberal media hacks at their game. That being said, I am for the most part in the Walker camp... and I like Cruz and Paul. Does anyone here have a problem with the Canadian birth detail on Cruz? Just curious...

I am not sold on Trump yet. But who else is standing up to the "beltway whores" and the "American al Qaida" (federal judges dressed in their black flowing man jammies, also whores)?

I have lost all respect for capitol hill and scotus (the reason that I refuse to capitalize their names). I personally believe that every congressman, federal judge, and executive office official should be thrown out and new fresh ideas and people run this nation.

The two Tea Party candidates who are actually standing up to DC are Ted Cruz and Rand Paul. Unless you want to abandon voting and just revolt, they are your choice IMO.

Like I said I'll take the non-politician, I want to see him eviscerate the liberals.

So anyone who runs for office is a politician? Then Trump is now a politician too and you are supporting one.

I'm sure you understood my meaning. Unlike the others in the field Mr. Trump is not a career politician. And yes I'll support anyone that believes in "legal" immigration and wants to deport the criminals.

Cruz has been in the Senate for two years. Before that, never held elective office.

Trump on gun control:

Quote:
During a 2013 interview with Fox News, the real estate mogul defined himself as, “a very strong person on the Second Amendment.” He believes guns are necessary for self-defense and has written that he generally opposes gun control. In his 2000 book, “The America We Deserve” Trump wrote that he supports a ban on assault weapons and a slightly longer waiting period to buy a gun.
