Surf Fishing the OBX this Oct. any tips?

So I will be out in Duck, NC for a week this October on vacation and am going to get some surf fihing in. Previous years we have only gone in the summer and then I have fished with squid and mostly caught flounder.

I beleive I read somewhere that the bluefish will be running at that time of year and was wondering if anybody had any tips for bait...or heck..anyt ips in general.

Try a finger mullet rig with light line- 8#, and light weight.
