After you've left the car

Didn't want to hijack the car thread.

So, you've left the car anyway or were forced out by a chinese taxi driver. What do you protect yourself with? Concealed weapons are not allowed.

For women: You have a veritable arsenal in your purse, any of which will help you dissengage and get the hell out of Dodge. Nail file (stabbing, slashing) credit card (slashing) ink pen/pencile (stabbing) pepper spray (all women should have this) keys (stabbing slashing). The objective is to get away, not fight a war. All of these items hurt like shit when applied properly and will usually give you a chance to get away.

What else do you carry, how can you use it?

Talking Feet...

Now, if I'm with my wife, especially at night. A carry my Harsey special, which is readily accessible.

Went to the theatre to see the Lion King on Sat. Carried it wearing a suit and tie.

Funny you should say that. In college in CO we studied several murder cases. One that baffeled LEO in the early 80s was a man found dead in a house with a hole in the forehead. Long story short, he was killed with a stelletto high heel to the frontal lobe.

ouch

What about open carry?

AZ is an open carry state....

Surefire w/ GG&G impact device, pen, prybaby, folder (or a composite knife ), keys, paperclip, palmpilot and mp3 player in a fanny pack used as a Manriki Gasari. The palm and mp3 are a last resort due to the fact that it would cost me alot of cash to replace both.
