I don't have, nor have I shot, a 12ga pistol,,
BUTT I have tried to shoot my Browning A5 and Ithica 37 in pistol mode...
Not fun..
Inaccurate.
A lot less ammo than an SBR (AK or AR).
Hickock just did vid last month..

I handled one and really didn't get it. A friend of mine, whom is a RKI, posted a video on his use for this style and thoughts. Made sense to me. Still not sold on it.

Way too much novelty factor with that gun for me.
If I am using a shotgun for HD, I would just as soon us my traditional 870.
Besides that, I hit what I aim at and don't need a spread like that Tac 14 would produce.

Worse than an AR pistol (except those with the Sig brace).
This is just rying to get a shorty shotgun to bypass the NFA. You can't aim it so I have no use for it.

That's the other part. If you were to have this in a vehicle it may or may not be legal in your state. It's not a pistol nor a rifle. It's a firearm. ATF could just change it back or LEO'S and prosecutors may have other issues with it. Because of the gray area, I would rather not own it. If you want an AOW or SBS, just do it the NFA route.

To me, the thought of going to a dance with only 4 condoms,, Just don't make it..
Not when you could have a 30rd mag,, and maybe a backup in the glove compartment.
Of course, the best-dressed fellow is PACK'n 30 mags or better..
Unless you're dating Milla Jovovich??
Just thinking out-loud.

And I'd agree, but, wouldn't that beast look nice in an umbrella stand next to the front door?
Answering the door would be so much more enjoyable.

YES,,
You are probably too young to remember Nick Adams as The Rebel (circa 1959?)
Truth be known,, I had BAD Jones ever since..
He used a S/S, but, I wanted an O/U,, The O/U would slide into a nice leather rig, strapped to your leg..

I was always partial to James Caan and his inability to shoot a Peacemaker.

I see more utility with this one. About time Remington going the saiga route
https://www.remington.com/shotguns/p...n/model-870-dm
might won me back to Remington if they can retrofit earlier model.
Wonder if it's legal for 3gun heavy. That mag will surely beat the quickest quad load

They seem to make it with a 6 rd box mag as well. LINK But, then, the mag causes it lose that slim profile.

Fair enough. I admit to having lights on my guns but not lasers.
