Calexit!
Good riddance or loss?
Having gone through SF airport observing zero respect and courtesy towards vets and service members, I don't mind at all.

Now there's a big surprise, what took them so long?

I fully support their exit. Take away every dime of federal funding for every thing.

Fixed it. Done. And because of their sanctuary policies, put 'em on the Dept of State's terror list.
These efforts happen from time to time, whenever a few folks get butthurt about something. They bear no fruit when folks have another latte' and think about the milk drying up.

The left will surely miss those guaranteed 55 electoral college votes.

Go for it! And good riddance to ya! Your state is so broke as it is you will be another Greece waiting for the bailout of nearby countries.
While we're building the wall we can just continue on up the border of Cali too.

I saw a great post on a friend's FB page:
It's kinda hard to feel sorry for people who think that government should have virtually unlimited power but never consider it may fall into the hands of those they don't like....

Oh, the irony! LMAO. (Well put; consider it stolen for retrans.)

A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to fear.

Eh, a few small surveillance grants to some folks on the backside of the Sierra Nevadas...
Much of it has some nice terrain & climate-based dis-enabling features to a good portion of their eastern border.

Whaddaya mean? The Astronauts won't be seeing it from space then?
How disappointing. I was hoping to take a sabbatical and come over to help lay the bricks. Won't be the first time an Irishman did that now would it.

I can see it now - Trump makes California pay for the extension of the wall to separate California from the US border and offers a refund to Mexico for the part of the originally planned wall that is no longer necessary.
