BALLISTIC MISSILE THREAT INBOUND TO HAWAII. SEEK IMMEDIATE SHELTER. THIS IS NOT A DRI
You know somewhere there's a 15 year old Russian kid (hacker) laughing his ass off right now.
Report of nuclear ballistic missile heading to Hawaii turns out to be mistake
Earlier Saturday, Hawaiian citizens reported receiving an emergency alert on their phone that stated: “BALLISTIC MISSILE THREAT INBOUND TO HAWAII. SEEK IMMEDIATE SHELTER. THIS IS NOT A DRILL.”
By Kathleen Joyce | Fox News
Hawaii emergency officials confirmed Saturday an alert that a ballistic missile was inbound to the island was a mistake.
Earlier Saturday, Hawaiian citizens reported receiving an emergency alert on their phone that stated: “BALLISTIC MISSILE THREAT INBOUND TO HAWAII. SEEK IMMEDIATE SHELTER. THIS IS NOT A DRILL.”
House Rep. Tulsi Gabbard, D-Hawaii, tweeted in regard to the alert: “HAWAII – THIS IS A FALSE ALARM. THERE IS NO INCOMING MISSILE TO HAWAII. I HAVE CONFIRMED WITH OFFICIALS THERE IS NO INCOMING MISSILE.”

We recently had something similar happen down here:
https://www.stuff.co.nz/national/975...errupted-kiwis
Although I think ours pales in comparison to “ballistic missile inbound”.
I wonder if these accidents might be semi intentional, arms length, artificial “oops” to help spread the word that the system is online.
A million bucks in free advertising targeting the morons who would otherwise be ignorant unless it hits their social news feed.
It certainly creates a massive level of alert system awareness.

Matter of fact I nearly wet myself laughing reading this: https://www.thedailybeast.com/terror...pact-in-hawaii

On a more serious note, it might make a few people do some simple and basic preps.

Hawaii, a once beautiful tropical island paradise ruled by Kings and Princesses and a surfer dude named Duke. A treasured trade route of the Pacific and once home to the entire Pacific Fleet US Navy.
Run by Democrats since the end of the war and with typical liberal thinking the native Hawaiians have been pushed aside much like Native American Indians on the mainland got pushed out of their native homelands. Turned into drunken entertainment for the temporary visitors that come for one or two weeks and leave piles of trash, shit and broken miniature umbrellas with dried pineapple fruit wedges lying in the imported sand.
You know what the Eagles said...once you call someplace ‘paradise’ kiss it goodbye.
Ala Moana district, once a must see shoppers paradise and the seaside park across the road turned home to the homeless and drug and drunkenness of those lost souls who came looking for paradise but only found a minimum wage job in a social system that only catered to the rich and influential who gladly paid the peasants of Native Hawaiian blood, blood money to move into the hills but keep the Luau and grass skirts Hula alive and well.
You know what Hawaii has become since I lived there 40 years ago?
A SHITHOLE!
And it’s not only because of its liberal judicial robe wearers or its honorable and esteemed Senators’ it’s because they continue to sell the lie in both English and Japanese that Hawaii is still a Paradise - until you get there and realize you too have to leave in two-weeks and go back to work.
Everybody gets lei’d (laid) in Hawaii except the housekeeper. She can only afford to live there and feed her family because of the large stipend paid to keep the locals (non-how’Lee, aka Natives) content and inhibited by drugs alcohol or both. Surfs up dude...hang loose!
You know what’s better than a free college education in Hawaii? Free money for life, and well, surfing!

This happened across the U.S. back in 1971: EBS Warning.
Additional: https://seanmunger.com/2014/02/20/we...alarm-of-1971/
I was working in television at the time but not on the weekends, so I missed it. There was a sealed milia envelope posted in Engineering and I was always curious as to what it said. Never did find out. Whoever was working in the control room on that Saturday would not have heard the wire serve bells since they were in the newsroom which was about 30 yards away and the control room was soundproofed, so I doubt that we participated in it, anyway.

I was going somewhere with the above rant and then forgot.
Hawaii would do well to end its colonial relationship with the United States of America and secede to become a territory of Japan under Japanese rule. I mean it’s only fitting that all the taxi drivers and mom and pop shop owners of Japanese decent use the same currency as the largest part of the tourism market.
It’s a win-win-win! Socialism gets to party with Patriarchy and the NPRK hates the US more than Japan.

Thought you were going to roll with the "Shithole" statement.... It's been propping up MSM and (Un)Social Media for days.

Damn good thing I was not in Hawaii when this took place. I could just see myself in a Hawaii Walmart when everyone’s phone said there’s a nuc headed this way and its not a drill:
“OK Walmart shoppers, who’s up for some “End of the World Sex?”
You know this happened somewhere in Hawaii……
And then "DAMN, WHAT DO YOU MEAN ITS NOT REAL?"

My first thought was, "you have a button you can push by mistake during a shift-change that says ICBM inbound?" YGBSM

Call me a Cassiterite (SN) Chapeau aficionado, that plays the metals market LONG.
But I somehow have a feeling that this was intentional..

The kahuna nui all lean objectively to the Left.
I just can't see the FCC, FEMA, and NORAD letting the locals carry the FootBall in a lunch bag, without some sort of verification check.
What's a better way to crank the populace than with a FREE & timely poke at The Donald??
