Speaking of old Rhodesia, has anyone heard from Charlie Dukes lately?

oops, sorry.

Trip wire has got me on a Rhodesian Army kick now.

http://members.tripod.com/selousscouts/home_page.htm

Hours of information on there including photos of selection complete with sand bags and painted rocks....

As I thought about this I thought of an NCO that I worked for once who served Mike Kelso. As if it was fate I was looking at another website and found this.

Just finished The Elite, the Story of the Rhodesian SAS by Barbra Cole. Excellant book, I would highly recommend it if you can get it. There were a quite a few Americans in the unit...very interesting. Hard bunch of men.

Starting Pamwe Chete-Legend of the Selous Scouts next week. Will pass on a review.
