As we've discussed previously elsewhere, Vlad plays Masters chess, our pResident can't play competent checkers.

A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to fear.

I can see how on a personal l and professional evel Putin would prefer trump to hitlery.

Russian hackers recently hacked unreleased opponent data from all political strategy servers of all campaign fronts. The data was successfully exfilled for months back to russia, according to news reports.
Now this....
We are witnessing a new form of cyber political warfare from foreign adversarys that enables election manipulation.
Bad for Hillary great, Good for Trump sure, but it makes the old US enabled coups seem like the work of neanderthals. (Which of course it was in many cases...)
.....Yeah I'm sure Russia is super upset about Hillary leaking intel. They must want DOJ to get right on that. NOW that it is done with and is of no current operational use. What a deal, get unlimited access to the DoS and get a freebie for political warefare. You bet Putin knows what he's doing.

This.
Some sources of mine over there agree & regard her actually as dangerously hawkish in terms of US/Russia relations. Trump & Putin are much more likely to be able to "do business" together; economic, kinetic, whatever.

RT's story on Guccifer 2.0
(with link to several docs & spreadsheets posted)
RT's story here.
Quote:
A lone hacker by the name ‘Guccifer 2.0’ has claimed responsibility for hacking the Democratic National Committee database, revealing research on GOP and donor information. This contradicts the initial DNC reports that Russia was behind the attack.
DNC Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman-Schultz acknowledged that the party servers were hacked and that opposition research was stolen, but denied that documents of a financial nature were compromised.
On his website, Guccifer 2.0 posted some of the documents allegedly lifted from DNC’s servers, such as a 200-page “opposition research” document on Donald Trump. The hacker also posted documents with names of famous individuals who have made donations to the Democratic Party in the millions of dollars, such as actor Morgan Freeman and hedge fund manager James H. Simmons.

That maybe Trump will bow to him after supporting the destruction of HRC.

This one right here. The "evil" Putin would much rather avoid another world war whilst Cruella will quite gleefully slide the western world right over the edge.
