Summer is here so it's ice cream time.
This is probably the easiest and cheapest recipe for something so delectable!
Need to bribe the little princess or make up for late pick up?
Wife complaining of dessert cost for little ones' birthday party?
Want to impress HH6 or GF who has serious case of sweet tooth?
Well, now you can become the savior of the day....just don't tell her the calorie count
All it takes:
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup low fat condensed milk
- 1 can coconut milk
- 5 table spoon French vanilla cappuccino
- Lindl White Coconut bar
- Toasted coconut shaving
- (optional for 21+) 1 shot glass of Malibu coconut rum
1. Freeze the whisking container and keep the heavy cream cool.
2. Crush the bar to tiny pieces
3. Keep condensed milk at room temperature (for better mixing) and mix in coconut milk and cappuccino
3. Whisk the cream until soft peaks form
4. Pour the milk mix to cream.
5. Fold from bottom to top as the mix sinks to bottom. Do not stir till fine mix, just fold. The contrast keeps the taste alive.
6. Sprinkle the white coconut pieces. Fold from bottom to top again.
7. Freeze for 7 hours min or 24 hours preferably. Serve with the toasted coconut shaving.
Voila! No bags of ice with salt. No ice cream maker. No churning. Took me less than 15 min preparing, and cost about $10 total to satisfy 10 adults' sweet craving. Imagination is the limit for various flavors. Replace coconut ingredients with mix of Nutella and 2 table spoon butter (yum) or salted caramel frappucino + chocolate expresso bits + Baileys, and so on.
