"The Stick"

My story: I would get shin splints often, on the same part of the leg (on the medial side of the tibia about a 1/3 the way up from my ankle). I would do the usual stretching, icing, and ibuprofen.

A friend recommended that I get "The Stick", a massaging tool you can get off of Amazon. The thing works. Haven't had a single shin splint since I've started using it (once before workout, once after).

Works better than any foam roller. I use "The Sprint". My neck has never felt so relaxed it's in life either. Only I wish I had this thing when I was swimming back in college...
