I like the NATO TQ, but like all TQs it's not perfect.
1. Difficult to place one handed.
2. Not intuitive, ie has a slight learning curve to get it right.
3. Can pinch skin if not properly placed.
Great TQ, but I don't carry as my primary personal TQ, because I want everyone to know how to put one on me (kind of selfish that way
). However I carry multiples for me to use. Obivously train your mates in it's use.
The NATO is basically a pre-assembled field expedient TQ, that packs small, is cheaper, and IMOO better than the RATS.
The NATO is the only TQ I have never seen break after multiple uses in training.
