Rumor has it . . .
That you can execute a huge rat in the crawl space of a California dwelling with a .22 without your commie neighbors whining about a firearm being discharged within city limits. Heard it from a friend.

A good air rifle does an excellent job on varmints and is even quieter. Had a problem with squirrels in the attic. Now I don't and my wife could barely hear it downstairs. Those bastards dropped like a rock too.
