I continue to respect the hell out of Nicky Haley. I hope someday she runs for POTUS.

Except the misinformation also included the attempt to paint the false flag on Fox. This is getting like Spy vs. Spy in MAD magazine, lol.

Ok. As we all know, this MFer should have been killed during the heyday of IRAQ War II. THat is beside the point.
Things that I wonder about:
1. Why isn't the Admin playing up the point that the the Iranian Repub. Guards were responsible for the widespread proliferation of EFPs in IRAQ that led to countless American deaths and maiming?
2. Why does the admin and any "friendly" media not emphasize that this asshat was the leader of a terrorist organization?
3. Why does the admin and any "friendly" media continue to refer to this asshole by a military title "General" when he (by our delcaration) is a leader of a terrorist organization?
4. Although this guy deserved to die... and I do believe that they wanted to repeat the Tehran embassy hostage taking... could this be a purposeful provocation on our part to generate a response....with the ultimate purpose to hit Iranian nuke production infrastructure (and other leadership targets?).

With Iran's attack on us, we better now be weapons free. On everything.
I hope that Trump does what needs to be done.
Edit:
I wonder how things might be different if we would have gone for the kill in 1988 during PRAYING MANTIS after the USS Samuel B. Roberts incident. That was our opportunity to send a message, and IMO, in hindsight, we didn't do enough.

Don't let an occasional moment of clarity from Nikki Haley fool you. She was all for the U.S. signing onto the UN's "migration" scheme. She is also a RINO. Even more, she is not a natural-born citizen - so far as I know. She is definitely NOT presidential material for the United States.

Bamberg South Carolina is not in the US? News to me. Pretty sure 1972 is after the 14th Amendment was ratified.
She may be a RINO, she may be a Tea Party Libertarian...but, what she isn’t is a liberal (outside the classic sense of the word) and she leans further right (as do most Sikhs) as a conservative. Maybe calling her a Republican is close to calling Trump a Republican?
She floundered on the Confederate Flag issue but in this day and age dying on that sword would be a foolish mistake.
Anyway, if someday we are destined to have a female president she would likely receive my vote at the ballot box. Hell I already bit into that bad tasting sh!t sandwich called McStain/Palin once before.
As for the thread...I hope I wake up to news that Iran’s nuclear fusion plant lay in rubble. Don’t care if we do it or the Israelis.

She was born in South Carolina. How is she not a natural-born citizen?

Haley’s [Indian immigrant] parents moved to South Carolina in 1969; she was born in January 1972. In those days, it took at least five years to be naturalized. So it’s evident Haley’s parents weren’t U.S. citizens at her birth. Thus she is ineligible to the offices of president and vice-president. For both, the Constitution says one must be a “natural born Citizen” of the United States, a deliberately higher standard than simple citizenship.
The Supreme Court addressed this in Minor v. Happersett (1875):
The Constitution does not, in words, say who shall be natural-born citizens. Resort must be had elsewhere to ascertain that. At common-law, with the nomenclature of which the framers of the Constitution were familiar, it was never doubted that all children born in a country of parents who were its citizens became themselves, upon their birth, citizens also. These were natives, or natural-born citizens, as distinguished from aliens or foreigners. (Emphasis added, and note the plurals!)
Minor was unanimous and written by Chief Justice Morrison Waite; a unanimous opinion by the Chief is the strongest statement the Court can make.
Haley doesn’t make the cut.
Neither do Cruz, Rubio, Jindal, and nor did—yes—Barack Obama.

Please see my reply to CW3SF @23:46 1/7/20 for the info on Nikki Haley's citizenship status. (She is a naturalized U.S. citizen, but NOT a "natural-born" U.S. citizen. Her parents were not U.S. citizens at the time she was born.)

I’m no lawyer but me thinks the person who argued this decision in the link above for the sake of declaring one a natural born citizen does not understand the basis of the arguments made for and against in Minor v. Happersett. Which detailed a finding for “Suffrage” and a woman’s right to vote.
Reading the whole thing I’m left with the 14th Amendment trumps your argument against Haley or any of the other persons mentions above as not being granted citizenship at birth. More specifically “natural born citizens” regardless of the citizenship of either or both parents.
In modern day ‘immigration court’ it’s the sticky wheel allowing our southern neighbor’s to keep coming here to give birth.
P.S. I don’t mean to hijack the thread so maybe a new one is in order elsewhere?
