Denver shooter is ANTIFA
Love the internet and all the geeks..
Seems the shooter has an ANTIFA tattoo on his are and the local ANTIFA org knows him to "have you 6"
ALSO, If the sequence is correct. The patriot did not use the pepper spray until he spotted the shooter draw his weapon.

I'm waiting to see which Antifa supporting democrats funnel money into his legal defense fund...

Pepper Spray ?
Pepper spray is not a deadly force weapon...Antifa perp had a gun concealed & used it...Is this a self-defense issue ???

For the guy with (only) the pepper spray: yes!
Murder is a good call from DA. No, he was not in a deadly use of force scenario and getting bitch slapped doesn’t constitute deadly retaliation.

Interesting article here, looks like there’s a lot more to the events yet to shake out. Doesn’t look good for the shooter as well as 9 news or Pinkerton if the later two even turn out to be true.

News crews appeared to me in previous situations to be getting in the way if not actually part of these peaceful protesters. I suppose it wouldn’t be a stretch that some are the recon element, perhaps active in targeting and I guess we’ll see if they are part of the assault elements....

I believe that if you are "Legally" carrying a Firearm and someone (NOT A LEO) hits you with Pepper Spray, it can be/is considered as a defense to the Use of Deadly Force!! Based on the fact that they can "Dis-Arm" you with the debilitating Spray!!

Yes that can fly. Reasonable judgment and all.
FWIW, Rittenhouse was also peppersprayed by protester and did not spray lead in response.
Also who knows, they could be pulling out at near the same time and the guy who shot thought the other person was pulling a gun too.
Needless tragedy and death overall

You can see below in sequence of events. In frame #1 shooter initiates contact, victim responses in self defense with a slap to the face as shooter tries to grab OC. At frame #9, shooter is drawing gun from appendix carry. Victim was stepping back disengaging. Lee responded with what he had in hand which was the OC. In frames #2,7,8 Lee has a Ruger semi auto clipped to the inside of his vest.

Jeopardy - means, opportunity, intent.
Lee (as with others who were peacefully protesting) acted in self-defense to the attempted assault by Dollof when he tried to take away his pepper spray, which had not been used up to this point. Lee broke contact stepping back towards his group. Lee did not attempt to draw a firearm and his hands were clearly at his side. The situation is over at this point.
Dollof, who initially caused the situation with intent to disarm Lee from carrying a legal substance which is not, repeat not, deadly force continued to press the situation to the next higher level (or went straight to deadly use of force) against someone who had de-escalated the situation and stepped back.
You cannot initiate violence and then claim self-defense.
Both may have had means and opportunity but only one intended to cause harm.
We will have to wait for the trial and jury to see all of the evidence and what happened if anything to the reporter whom Mr. Dollof was supposedly there to protect. Did he need protecting or was he an agitator like the guy in the BLM shirt who was clearly there to stir up trouble.
I believe the charge of murder against Dollof is the correct charge and he will be found guilty at trial. There are way too many witnesses and there will be more videos I’m sure covering every angle and words spoken.
ETA: Oh and Dollof’s history and employment will come into play. How active with Antifa and BLM has he been, what roles has he had in confronting others either as “security” or individually. It appears already that Pinkerton has no record of employment with him and the news company may have over stepped their hiring process to have a “friend of the reporter” present. Many questions that will be answered soon.
As Reaper pointed out let’s see the civil wrongful death lawsuits begin with the Channel 9 News and see how fast they distance themselves from both the gunman and the reporter.

As it turns out he has neither a state license for security work, a permit to carry in support of that work, nor a concealed carry permit. He also has a track record going back to Occupy Wall Street. This guy is a card-carrying street enforcer for them. There are a couple of 9News reporters who are notoriously left-wing & pretty much have carte blanche to cover Antifa. This guy was running security for the orange vest guy (their color code of the day), perhaps on their own dime, don't know.

Excellent sequence.
#9 clearly illustrates the initiation of the draw with NO spray in the air - we see NO deadly force exhibited prior to the fatal shot. Couple that with the long list of problems cited by Badger with respect to the “security” guard and this should add up to a significant civil case - at a minimum.
