It appears from my research that the state of Colorado does not issue security licenses, the cities do though. A search of Denver's licensing site does not show that he has ever had a security license in the city.

That is correct, but AJ still crazy or maybe merely crazy like a fox. I would agree on Joe McCarthy, it only took 40-50 years to prove he was on the money, but way, way ahead of his time.
