5.11 Outerwear
5.11 has their new outerwear up on their site. Looks pretty good to me.

They have a new jacket that looks pretty good. There is another company that has come up with some pants that are similar to the 5.11, but they are ripstop and are much cooler. They have the same pockets and a velcro enclosre on the cuffs.

I've seen pants in Cabellas (Cabellas brand) that appear similar to 5.11s to a degree, but I've never had them in hand to compare the two.

I have seen those in their catalog (the Trailhiker) I believe is what they are called. I have heard some good things about them through friends of my dads' that are avid outdoorsmen.

I have seveal pairs of Cabela's Pants, Not sure if they're trailhikers or not, and I know that one pair is the "Safari" type, and they have lasted me about 6 years now. The material is fading and starting to thin a little bit, but they're still wearable.
