SFC Linwood Martin, DSC.

On this day 36 years ago ( Mar 22, 1968) a good man, good soldier and good friend, SFC Linwood Martin, was KIA while on an operation for C&C SOG. We were face to face when he took a round above yhr left eye.

For some reason, only today, 36 years later, did it sink in that we were whispering to each other and that the round missed me by less than a foot.

RIP!!
