They'll need a really big helicopter to put all those confiscated guns in.

I don't know about today, as I've been out of the loop for quite a while, but the 160th selection/training process was extensive in the late 1990's. Several students of mine went to the 160th and they were GOOD.

This is an old post but, coming from aviation I know plenty of 160th mechanics, and they believe that they are better than SF because they do not fly them and they fly "packages". Similar to what The Reaper mentioned. I find it hilarious because they believe that they are more elite soldiers when in reality they are a bunch of mechanics. Id love to see them try and make it through SFAS! However, I do have to say that the aviators and crewchiefs do go on secret squirrel missions, but hearing the mechanics gloat about how special they are is something else!

Special Operations is a team effort and everyone needs to be at the top of their game.
Mechanics are just as important as SF soldiers, everyone has their job to do, we just have different jobs.
