Space Force unveils service uniforms with camouflage design
Space Force unveils service uniforms with camouflage design
https://thehill.com/policy/defense/4...ouflage-design
"The U.S. Space Force (USSF) late Friday unveiled camouflage uniforms bearing the branch’s first nametapes for its members.
“The first #SpaceForce utility uniform nametapes have touched down in the Pentagon,” the service branch tweeted from its official account, attaching a photo of the uniforms..."
I guess nobody in Space Force has watched an episode or movie of Star Trek for ideas.
Love the Black T Shirt with star cammy pattern one person suggested.

I liked the T-shirt too, the comments are interesting. I was thinking something along the lines of George Jetson.

Wonder if the guys assigned to security will have red name plates?

I love the Navy comment about swapping.
Still, this FOG's tin-foil chapeau suspects some massive info-op by Duffel Blog.
OK, they've had a 4-star CG. As a "service" now don't they get a Secretary, a seat at CJCS & some other stuff including a "Happy Family" sized platter of egg rolls?

Well, as a long suffering taxpayer, if they simply use something off the shelf, I'm cool with it.

Not yet. For the time being they'll be a department of the Air Force, similar to the Marines being a department of the Navy.
The real question is if current space-qualified NCOs and officers from the other Services will have a choice to branch transfer, or if they'll be involuntarily transferred to build up a leadership cadre. Also, will new Space Force (or SF, cuz you know that's coming) enlistees go to USAF basic, or will Space Force create their own basic training POI anytime soon?

The Air Force is now totally pissed that there is a service that can now fly higher above ground away from the fight than they can.

The US Space Force...now the second biggest para-military organization in the US? Behind the USAF.

Was wondering about this after reading the first post. What does the Special Forces community think about the USSF distinction being used for the new Space Force?
Was curious.
