Read the whole thing, think about the implications. Four Democrats and three Executive Branch members conspiring to withhold information from the President. If some or all of these people are not indicted and arrested you can change the spelling of America to Banana Republic.

This really isn't a case where people cannot see through the obvious deception in the works by these "servants of the people" - this is willful blindness where the progressive end justifies the hypocritical means. This Great Experiment of ours has gone off the rails.

I will be very surprised if this turns into anything.

Quote:

The Department of Justice (DOJ), FBI and Office of the Director of National Intelligence are reportedly expected to propose redactions to a series of documents related to the Russia investigation that President Trump ordered to be declassified this week.

Bloomberg News reported on Wednesday that the agencies are currently doing a methodical review of the documents. There is no official timeline on when their evaluation of the sensitive documents will be finished.

But the news outlet, citing sources familiar with the process, noted that the FBI and the DOJ plan on submitting their proposed redactions to the Office of the Director of National Intelligence.

The office is expected to then assemble the material and turn it over to the White House, Bloomberg reported.

The report comes just days after Trump ordered a set of sensitive documents tied to the probe into Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election and possible collusion between the Kremlin and the Trump campaign declassified.

Classified parts of a surveillance application that gave the FBI the ability to monitor former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page will also become public as part of the release.

In addition, the order includes public text messages tied to the investigation into Russia's election interference from top federal officials such as former FBI Director James Comey.

“The Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation are already working with the Director of National Intelligence to comply with the President's order," the White House said in a statement on Monday evening.

The move has been applauded by some GOP lawmakers. But it has also sparked outrage from former White House officials, such as ex-Attorney General Eric Holder.

"This is an especially dangerous abuse of power by this President," Holder tweeted on Tuesday. "He places his self interest above the national security interests of the country."

Trump has repeatedly railed against special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation into Russian election interference, often referring to it as a "witch hunt."
El source-holio

It appears that Mr Holder contradicts himself...

If they don't want those in the White House involved in the vetting of the redactions which are being done against the orders given, perhaps they can give it to Nunes and Meadows to review and determine the need for redaction.

Those with vested interest in protecting their own asses or the asses of their allies at the FBI and DoJ shouldn't get to decide what gets redacted, and having Republicans review and determine what warrants redaction removes that particular conflict of interest. If there truly is a risk to national security, the Republicans should still be willing to redact those items without conflicts preventing the willful execution of the order.

Problem solved.

Apparently if you're the target of a witch hunt it isn't appropriate to defend yourself within the scope of the law. The President is just supposed to let this charade carry on in silence. Sometimes it feels as if the fabric of space time has ripped and we've fallen through to an alternate universe where democrats can say and do anything they feel like doing.

There is no need for an agency review or Legislative oversight: the head of the Executive Branch is THE ultimate classification advisor. If he says declass, it becomes unclassified. Full stop.

All DOJ and FISC documents are under his purview.

We the People should demand POTUS’ orders be executed without delay.

Sedition. Couple of pretty good statutes on that. I'm dismayed the US Marshal's Service isn't busier these days.

The dirt is obviously so deep on both sides of the aisle that no one is willing to press charges against anyone.

You would think the lame stream media would be clamoring for all this unredacted shit. Where is Rachel Maddow when you need her?

The ol' ticker almost skipped a beat at the thought of these wankers actually putting pen to their resignation letters, in protest or for any other motive. What a great idea!

Flip-side in reality: I don't believe they have the character to even do that, so yeah, start measuring.

I'm curious about not only these top admin folks but the lowlife commie minions that Project Veritas has been exposing. PV is on a roll with exposing 3 cockroaches in almost as many days. But in reality, what will happen to them and others that are outed? If there are as many skulking about in the government basement crawlspaces as these seditionists claim, there aren't enough coffins available. Just dig a trench, toss the trash in, cover it over and landscape it into a victory garden.

It's news like this that should convince anyone not paying attention that hollywood's depiction of the government's far-fight, hard-line loyal protectors of the Constitution don't exist except in movies. Otherwise these commies would disappear for a while until they are found "Vince Foster-ed" someplace. Or maybe there would just be a lot of newly planted gardens to maintain around the surrounding areas.

Honestly, if any of these outed lowlifes wind up dead, they got what they wanted.

Agreed I wish we could afford to have a real revolution and wipe out much of our current government and elect new leaders...

The whole state of affairs of our government is sickening the left is the craziest it has been since free love??? the difference between now and the civil rights movement is the suckers that bought into the socialist crap are our democrat party and even our republicans as Trump is proving.....imagine what a modern version of the liberty letter would look like. Thank god the forefathers saw the abuses of power and studied them enough to agree on our government a rule of law and represented by elected officials, by districts using democratic processes to compartmentalize regional interests from the unbridled abuse of power of a dictator.

Correct me if I'm wrong as the executive branch the POTUS can fire every one of these appointees and flush the toilet if they subvert his order.....the dems keep on giving with the leftist sickness and the sickening right as well almost as if their is some evil force possessing these wackos to subvert our POTUS authority....the only thing anyone really has against Trump is he sees through the bullshit and says it like it is hence his being elected. This feels like a battle of good and evil on a biblical level...it seems the Dems are more afraid Hillary Clinton and the rest of the Dems will be outed for actually being the ones to collude with Russia and Britain etc....to interfere with out elections just like Hillary did to gain the nomination.

WD,

those are my thoughts too.

POTUS just gave an order. If not followed, that’s a fireable offense.
