How much does the lawsuit cost Wisconsin?
Fun facts
Quote:
*Under state law, the recount*must begin this week as long as Stein or another candidate pays the $3.5 million estimated*cost of the recount by Tuesday, election officials said.
|
Quote:
Under the plan adopted Monday, the Wisconsin recount would begin Thursday, provided Stein, De La Fuente or both paid the $3.5 million by Tuesday. County officials would have to complete their recount by 8 p.m. Dec. 12 and then the state election commission would prepare the official recount for certification by Dec. 13 —*the deadline for guaranteeing that the state's electoral college votes are counted.

IMO, POTUS-elect 45 is doing himself no favors by rolling around in the mud with Stein or Clinton. Were he to let things play out, nothing would change IRT the results.
By getting bent out of shape, he's reminding those Americans who have concerns about his temperament why they had doubts in the first place. The erosion of confidence in his leadership will do more to damage his presidency than anything the Democrats can do presently.

True
But the problem is people shouldn't be concerned about his temperament in the first place. Successful entrapneuers & business men often have great temperament. If they didn't, their bad decision making lead by poor unwise temperament would lead to patterns of failure.
I don't confuse his habit & will of speaking with a free tongue with bad temperament.

I'd still like to see a Trump supporter demand recounts in blue states...

They are trying to make those state's electors miss the Dec 19 vote. That would send the decision to the House and Senate. But which House and Senate? This one or the one that will be sworn in in January?

I thinks it's December 13, and it will be the new Congress in January.
ETA: states have to certify the general election by 12/13. Yes the electors vote on 12/19.
Here's a timeline for everything next:

I do not believe this is cherry picking.
You have come to the board to demonized and lecture about the pit falls of Trump on numerous occasions. On the other hand you consider one of the most insidious politicans of all time, one of the architects of the refugee crisis and an accomplice in the deaths of several Americans 'a patriot'.
I know you dispise getting trolled by the underclass, but the idea that Clinton is a Patriot and Trump is the incarnation of Evil.....It just doesn't balance out for me.
What is the home team? Referring to Hillary Clinton as a patriot on any liberal source of social media will score you points, on conservative sites not so much.
Words have meanings, and obviously sometimes they take on different meanings for differnet people.

The flailing continues.

By Brendan O'Brien | MILWAUKEE
Local officials in Wisconsin will decide for themselves how to carry out a presidential election recount after a state judge on Tuesday rejected a lawsuit by former Green Party candidate Jill Stein to have the ballots counted by hand.

Conflicting reports on whether she made the PA deadline. Shockingly, the left says she did and the right says she did not.
Why should things be different now?

I don't know, but we don't need to be takin' our eyes off what the BG's are up to by gettin' distracted with silliness. This op Russia's pulling off is clangin' in my ol' noggin like the Liberty Bell.

As of today's news...
more boo-f'n-hoo for the candidate that, in Wisconsin, garnered a whopping .011% of the vote.
Dusty, which particular shenanigan has your interest most piqued? The readiness level re Ukrainian missile tests near Crimea, the burnt up space cargo ship bound for the ISS, Putin's desire for a less-oil-based budget for his economy...?
