In bizarre turn of events, the Army was forced to suspend the awards recognition initiative associated with the Special Recruiter Assistance Program (SRAP) when soldiers in the 82d Airborne Division forcibly reflagged the unit as the “Longstreet Crips”
The Army realized things had gone sideways after watching the meteoric rise of PFC Horace “Horse-leg” Smith to the rank of Command Sergeant Major due to his insanely high medal count. While participating in the SRAP program, Horse-leg miraculously swelled the size of the 82d Airborne Division by 53% in less than three months. After being awarded a 13th Silver Oak leaf Cluster to his MSM as well as his 63 ARCOMs and unprecedented 137 AAM’s it was clear that Horse-leg was recruiting countless members of his old street gang.
The Commanding General of the Division reportedly resigned his commission in protest and was unavailable for comment. A close associate known only by the nick-name “Tookie” has declared himself the new leader of the unit. His first official act was changing the name from 82d ABN DIV to ‘Longstreet Crips’ and discontinuing the use of the term “commanding general’ – the new designation of the unit’s leadership post is now referred to as “Longstreets Top-G”
Within days of reflagging the division, a similar event took place at Fort Campbell Kentucky when a soldier known as General Cornrow Wallace used the same method of SRAP incentive awards to climb from SP4 to 4-Star General in only 13 weeks. Cornrow immediately seized control of the 101st Airborne Division and reflagged the unit as the “North Tennessee Bloods”
The two Army divisions have been causing wide spread chaos throughout the south eastern US in what can only be described as an all-out gang war. DOD leaders at the Pentagon have initiated an investigation but investigators still have not been able to successfully execute the secret handshake needed to gain access to the division headquarters.
